As Lucy Rose Photography starts 2018 with fresh eyes and exciting times ahead, it is time to look back on what was an exceptional year for me. In my mind, 2017 set the tone for the style and creativity for the future. Not only did I travel to many different places in my personal life and also gained a nephew! Here are the many highlights – and a huge thanks you to clients & friends!
A new family member made his entrance in December and I got the pleasure of photographing this gorgeous little boy. My little Nephew Henry was the perfect little subject and although there are thousands of photos, this one is just too perfect not to show on its own! If you would like a little photo session in the comfort of your own home of pets, children or perhaps a newborn, send me an email to firstname.lastname@example.org
I had the pleasure of photographing this gorgeous little one and what fun we had! Tommy is a golden retriever puppy and the happiest little model. We spent just over an hour playing with him before his energy ran out. If you would like a little photo session in the comfort of your own home of pets, children or perhaps a newborn, send me an email to email@example.com
London After Dark is a city scape project I created this week. Wandering around London for 3 hours with camera and tripod in hand, it gave me the time to be creative and take time with each photo. Me and my boyfriend started in Waterloo station and wandered down past the London eye towards Embankment, across a few bridges and ended up in a favourite of mine; Borough market. Please have a look at the images produced from this amazing evening.

Anette & Steve married in the gorgeous Gosfield Hall surrounded by friends and family. The bridal prep room was incredibly glamorous with gold paint and marble pillars. The Venue: http://www.gosfield-hall.co.uk
In a beautiful little boutique B&B in Hastings, Rebecca and mark gathered their nearest and dearest to celebrate their marriage. Rebecca wore a beautiful strapless dress and they enjoyed a bbq in a marque decorated by their friends and family before dancing the night away. Enjoy looking through the photos from a wonderful day. I was recently commissioned to photograph Luca Buraglio – a very talented pianist – to help promote his talent. I used a soft box with honeycomb to direct a subtle light and backlit his hands to create a silhouette style photograph. The aim was for us to create classic, smart photographs for album covers and business cards. This is shown in the striking black and white photographs and the creative lighting which resulted in a reflection on the inside of the piano lid – the favourite of the shoot. You can see Luca play at Sopwell House every Sunday during the Afternoon Tea service.
